DESCRIPTION: We love wooden lids – they are apothecary lids that are easy to take on and off jars but keep the contents safe. We designed these to allow repurposing of the Oui Yogurt jars. The small jars are great for home made beauty care, storing sewing notions and craft supplies, storing Unpaste tablets, and its a great to store dried herbs. Use your imagination. They come with a fitting ring, which is silicone . They are not a tight enough fit to prevent spilling when dropped. Hard wood and made in USA.
Because we loved these so much, we also made a larger size to fit wide mouth mason jars. We then ordered bamboo lids to fit regular mouth jars.
DIRECTIONS: The lids can be washed with soap and water. Do not soak and allow to dry fully before use.
IMPACT: Love that these allow reuse of Oui and other similar sized yogurt jars. Reusing jars has a very positive environmental impact versus all the energy required to recycle.
DISPOSAL: Wooden lids are perfectly compostable, rings should be recycled.

I like these lids, have had a wood lid before but it was a fluke that I came to have it. Nice to have a source for them. I need to order some regular mouth size.
