It hydrates the skin by holding 1000x its weight in water and supports collagen production and the skin's structural support. Over time, the amount of naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid decreases. This may result in diminished plumpness and firmness in mature skin. Hyaluronic acid serum is a humectant. This means that it holds water, keeping the skin moisturized. It is a powerful ingredient, yet safe and gentle, and it easily integrates with most other products in your skin care regime. Hyssop Beauty Apothecary uses a plant-based vegan mid-molecular weight hyaluronic acid in their serum. Hibiscus flower is commonly referred to as "nature's botox". It is: anti-Inflammatory, antioxidant-rich, supremely hydrating, soothing + well tolerated.
