DESCRIPTION: Large airtight food storage containers made from food grade 18/8 stainless steel. Silicone seal in lid makes these containers completely air tight. it is stackable in the freezer and refrigerator. Perfect size for adult lunch or food storage.

DIRECTIONS: bottom of container can be washed in the dishwasher, but not the lid. lid is not oven safe. do not microwave.
DISPOSAL: Extremely durable, but can be recycled in metal recycling at end of life.
Quick info on stainless, to the best of our research:
430 or 18/0 is 18% chromium; no nickel
304 or 18/10 or 18/8 is 18% chromium and 10% and 8% nickel, respectively,
200 series is stronger and less corrosive and better value but can rust or discolor more easily so wash and dry before after use. These have 3.5-5.5% nickel; 16-18% chrome and 5.5-7.5 manganese.
