Description
DESCRIPTION: Environmentally friendly toothbrushes are an imperfect space and we provide two beautiful solutions!
Bamboo Toothbrushes for Adults with hard Boar Hair Bristles:
The fully compostable option we carry are boar bristle toothbrushes. It is important to note that the bristles are hard and require brushing your teeth with care! We do not recommend the boar bristle to anyone with sensitivity-prone teeth. These also make great pet toothbrushes.
Bamboo Toothbrushes for Adults and Children with soft or medium Nylon Bristles:
These bamboo toothbrushes are imperfect because of their plastic nylon bristles, but the nylon provides a much smoother brush. Note that toothbrushes labeled "medium" still tend to be on the softer side!
DIRECTIONS: Brush as you would normally, but feel so much better for doing so sans plastic! if you want to differentiate brushes among family members, just add a dot of color to the handle.
IMPACT: Nearly 5 billion plastic toothbrushes are produced annually leaving 50 million pounds of toothbrushes in U.S. landfills. Yikes, we can do better. Microplastics enter the body orally, so a toothbrush swap should be mandatory for all beginners. Also, doesn't the bamboo brush look so beautiful?
DISPOSAL: To compost handle: soak brush head in hot water for a minute then grab bristles with pliers and twist to remove. Compost the bamboo handle, recycle the nylon bristles with appropriate recycling program. For any boar head toothbrushes, it is fully compostable!

Really pleased with this toothbrush. Handle is flat as opposed to being round in your grasp. It’s flat shape is noticeable in your mouth as well. The bristles feel perfect. Even though the overall shape is different it’s better! Able to reach every tooth and angle. And the biggest bonus is that I’m not buying plastic handles anymore!
