DESCRIPTION: These 100% pure beeswax candles, are an ideal zero waste candle. We have two options, tapers, and votives. We selected these 100% US made beeswax candles because they are the best choice we could find. Unlike paraffin (petroleum based) and soy (contains GMOs and pesticides) these are the perfect choice for a toxic free home. The votives are made from 50% recycled glass and can be endlessly reused.
2" Votive glass and candles: The votives are made to become molten and fill their container. To achieve the best results, burn inside a holder which fits the candle snugly. Using the proper holder, you can expect these votives to burn for at least 15 hours, making them a great bang for your buck. Trim wick to 1/4" prior to lighting. When done, you can heat votive in a 150 degree oven for 5 minutes and wipe out any remaining wax. Then add new votive.
8" Pair of Tapers: These classic candles dipped into pure molten beeswax at just the right temperature by a steady hand and a keen eye. They are dipped and cooled over twenty times each before a pair can be cut free from the oak rack. When finished and hung, they carry the rich scent of honey and seem to hold light in their bellies. Kept out of drafts and away from fans these tapers will burn virtually dripless for about one hour per inch of length.
