DISPOSAL: Stainless steel is 100% recyclable and has a 95% recovery rate. On average, 60% of the material used to make new steel comes from recycled content. Please recycle at a metal recycling or stainless steel recycling facility at the end of life.
INGREDIENTS: 18/0 stainless steel Quick info on stainless, to the best of our research:
- 430 or 18/0 is 18% chromium; no nickel
- 304 or 18/10 or 18/8 is 18% chromium and 10% and 8% nickel, respectively,
- 200 series is stronger and less corrosive and better value but can rust or discolor more easily so wash and dry before after use. These have 3.5-5.5% nickel; 16-18% chrome and 5.5-7.5 manganese.
