DESCRIPTION: Measures 2 1/2 inches high and 4 inches wide. This French Butter Dish is perfect for butter lovers! Emma Tabachnick is a potter from New Jersey and teaches at Summit's Visual Arts Center. Her pottery is hand thrown on manual wheel and glazed with a semi-matte glaze over a speckled clay. With her neutral, warm colors these beautiful pieces of pottery are a beautiful addition to any home!
DIRECTIONS: Put room temperature butter in lid, add small amount of water to bottom of dish, allowing butter to be sealed in water when closed. Leave on counter for perfectly soft and preserved butter. Pottery is Food, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
DISPOSAL: We do not currently have a perfect solution for end of life on pottery. We do recommend breaking it into small pieces and using it as drainage for planting in terra cotta pots.
IMPACT: Using pottery made from clay helps avoid polluting our planet with plastics.
