DESCRIPTION: Meema placemats are made from 80% upcycled fibers and are 100% cotton. Cool!
DIRECTIONS: Reuse then machine wash as needed with like colors in warm water, good laundry detergent. Do not use any chlorine bleach or fabrics softeners. Treat and stubborn stains before washing. Warm (not hot) iron as needed.
IMPACT: These replace single use disposable napkins and also avoid all their plastic packaging. This will save you money over time and help to save millions of trees, as well as divert paper and plastic from landfill/incinerators. Upcycled fabric has another huge, positive impact on the planet as we repurpose fabrics that would likely be shipped abroad or thrown away and now are made into something useful – a win-win-win!
DISPOSAL: Fabric is compostable at end of life (excluding thread). Alternatively recycle napkins with fabric or clothing recycling.
