Description
DESCRIPTION: This coconut soap bar is hand made by Sustainable Haus in NJ and called the Everything Bar, due to its versatility. Soaps do the job to wash away germs as they clean dishes and remove stains from cloth really well. They make a nice lather. The small bar ranges in size from 4.5-6 oz. The large bar (recommended for dishwashing) is double size at about 11oz, to get maximum use when dishwashing. Our Everything Home bar is great for:
- dish washing
- counter and floor cleaner
- stains – treat laundry stains
- wash clothes
- wash cars, floors, switchplates,
- wash everything!
DIRE]ECTIONS:
- Dish Soap – Apply damp sponge (works well but less visable bubbles) or brush (makes tons of suds) to bar of soap and scrub dishes for a nice lather and great clean. Do not keep water running as all the soap will just wash away from your sponge/brush. You can fill a sink with water for washing a pile of dishes. Just run soap under water and rub for a few seconds,
- The pods make one bottle of 16 oz counter cleaner each and the wrapper is the label. Unscented, or lemon available,
- Stain stick – wet fabric, gently rub wet bar on stain, gently rub taking care to over-scrub especially with cottons. let stubborn stains sit. a little baking soda is helpful with grease spots. Then wash as normal. Make sure the stain is out before placing in dryer. Retreat if really stubborn stain persists.
INGREDIENTS: Saponified coconut oil. If scented we use lemon essential oil. IMPACT: These are both economical and are a great zero waste, package free, swap, replacing liquid soap or even packaged bar soaps. Liquid soaps from the grocery are all packaged in plastics and have a variety of ingredients that may not be great for you skin and the water supply. It's worth knowing what you buy: check the Environmental Working Group or EWG.org for consumer guides and their analysis and ratings of commercial products. DISPOSAL: Nothing left to dispose after it is used. If mailed in a paper bag, both the label and bag are compostable and recyclable.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve been making low tox switches for over a year and have still been holding on to the blue stuff and it’s big brother Power Wash. Finally made the switch to the large dish bar and the natural brushes and couldn’t be happier! Why did I wait so long? Will be buying more for my adult children who will be washing dishes of their own.

This product is just the best! I bought it once to see if I liked solid dish soap better than liquid – let me tell you – I’ll never go back! I always keep this product stocked so whenever I run out, I always have another. It is definitely worth a try!

This dish soap is an absolute game-changer! I changed to bar dish soap to prevent buying extra plastic, but I ended up preferring it to liquid in the end! This soap is even better because I can buy it locally, and it’s handmade!
