DESCRIPTION: Leather Chamois 10" x 15" is a perfect reusable lint-free, streak-free wipe. Ideal for glass cleaning, mirrors, computer screens, and light dusting. Use only whee wet and rung out until damp. Follow instructions for best long lasting results. With proper care these can last 10 + years.
DIRECTIONS: Before using the chamois for the first time, soak for a few minutes in lukewarm water mixed with hard/curd soap and a tablespoon of sea salt (or table salt). Then wash and squeeze out the chamois until the water is clear. Never use the leather when it is dry. Only use when it is damp. Harsh detergents should be avoided during use, as they harden the leather. Solvents, gasoline, acids, etc., are harmful to leather. The leather should be washed thoroughly after each use (if it is heavily soiled, use some hard bar soap). The chamois dries best when spread out in the fresh air and becomes grippy and supple again after being immersed in water.
Heat from radiators or the sun dry out and damage the leather. Please use a maximum of 85 degrees (luke warm) water for washing out and do not wring the leather too hard.
